PRIME PLACEMENT PACKS

Graphic Design

For my project with Amazon, I developed the Prime Placement Packs initiative, a heartfelt campaign aimed at supporting children entering the foster care system under emergency placements. Recognizing the challenges these children face during such a tumultuous transition, the project was designed around a simple yet impactful concept: for every Herschel x Amazon backpack purchased, an identical backpack would be provided to a child in need, filled with essential items to ease their adjustment. This initiative not only raises funds but also supplies critical resources that can help make a difficult situation a little more manageable.

The design process involved creating a cohesive visual identity that reflects both the quality of the Herschel brand and the compassionate mission behind the project. I focused on vibrant colors and engaging graphics that would resonate with both children and caregivers, ensuring that the backpacks are not only functional but also appealing. By highlighting the dual impact of each purchase—supporting children in foster care while promoting stylish, durable backpacks—I aimed to foster a sense of community and responsibility among consumers. This project exemplifies my commitment to using design as a tool for social good, and it underscores Amazon's dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
